FINAL REFLECTIONS
-
What have I learnt in this module?
In this module, I have acquired a solid understanding of Design Principles and Elements, laying a strong foundation for creating impactful visual narratives and analyzing artwork based on these principles. Additionally, I have explored various illustration ideas and techniques during Task 3.
-
What did I enjoy the most?
I particularly enjoyed engaging with my lecturer, Dr. Charles, and fellow students, as it provided a platform for idea sharing. My passion for art and design made learning about design principles especially enjoyable. I also found fulfillment in illustrating and presenting my artwork to Dr. Charles, as his feedback expanded my creative horizons.
-
What did I not enjoy the most?
I must confess, the fleeting nature of the semester left me longing for more time to delve deeper into the world of design. Seven weeks felt like a whirlwind, and I wished for a more leisurely stroll through the creative landscape.
-
What have I learnt about myself through this module?
Through this module, I discovered my strong imaginative abilities and creative potential when fully immersed in a project. Encouragement and feedback from Dr. Charles played a significant role in boosting my confidence and enhancing my creative process.
-
What has changed and what has not in my learning journey?
This module has instilled a sense of responsibility in me, evident in my commitment to completing tasks before each class. I have also become more receptive to others' ideas and more considerate in my interactions.
-
What could be improved in this module?
One area for improvement could be the mode of lectures. While the recorded lectures were informative, I believe live lectures with discussion opportunities would enhance the learning experience.
